The Evidences Are Clear
Several persons have claimed or are claiming to be Jesus Christ. This paper presents several facts which should guide humanity in knowing the true Messiah:
  1. Jesus warned the world about false prophets and false Christ, who would come each claiming to be the Messiah. “………….”

  2. Undoubtedly, among all those who claim to be Jesus, only one is true. Others are false, deceiving and imposters. They are suffering from illusions and delusions, which are the false imaginations of their hearts.

  3. Some of them might have experienced the divine personality of Jesus. In spirit, two persons can merge into one body. In such a situation, the person can experience himself as if he were Jesus.

  4. The true Jesus shall be known by the following:

  5. Himself will say that He is Jesus Christ.

  6. He will do what Jesus does.

  7. He will teach what Jesus teaches, even more.

  8. God will confirm that the person is Jesus, just as God did at the day of baptism of Jesus and on the day of transfiguration.

  9. The Holy Spirit shall confirm the person.

  10. His spiritual encounters, activities and experience shall confirm that He is Jesus.

  11. His present live on earth shall be similar to (a reflection of )his life as Jesus of Nazareth.

  12. His footstep shall confirm that he is a child of God.

  13. His conduct shall bear evidence. Jesus was gentle, living a quiet lifestyle.

  14. Prophetic messages (visions, dreams, trance, oracles etc) shall confirm that the person is truly Jesus, through prophets, visioners and ministers of God.

  15. Like Jesus, he shall speak with power and authority.

  16. He shall create the environment for audience participation. Jesus was answering questions including those in the hearts and mind of people. Unlike the present day religious leaders who make people to 'sit down dey look only'.

  17. As was the custom of Jesus, he shall be giving parables and teaching their meanings.

  18. He shall be able to explain so many statements in both Old Testament and New Testament, as well as explain new ones.

  19. In conclusion, all those claiming to be Jesus, except one, are false prophets. They are imposters, because they claim to be what they are not.
